20 Years of Responsible Forest Management
We are a forestry company, established in 2002, that manages over 300,000 hectares of natural tropical forests in the Peruvian Amazon with a ecosystem-based approach. Since 2007, we hold the largest and oldest Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) forest management and chain of custody certificate in Peru. Since 2020, this certification also covers the Ecosystem Services for Biodiversity Conservation and Carbon Sink Storage.
Our climate projects, under the REDD+ scheme, implement activities since 2009 to reduce deforestation within our area of influence. These are certified by the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS) and Climate, Community, and Biodiversity (CCB), under a Gold label for biodiversity. This allows us not only to protect forests, and promote sustainable development for rural communities in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest; but also, to have a global impact, contributing to climate change mitigation.
