Maderacre is part of the Madre de Dios Amazon REDD Project, along with the Maderyja forestry concession and the NGO Greenoxx, specialized in environmental projects.
This is the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation Project (REDD) that contributes to avoiding the contamination of 22 million tons of CO2 until 2035.
The project, audited by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), has been validated by the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and certified by the Climate Community and Biodiversity Alliance (CCB), under the category Gold (the maximum of its type).
Every company or person generates a carbon footprint, a consequence of the emission of polluting gases by their daily activity.
The REDD project offers Carbon Credits, which compensate this footprint and can turn an industry, organization or person into neutral carbon. In this way, it contributes to mitigating the effects of climate change and promotes a sustainable development in the Peruvian Amazon.
We have compensated the carbon footprint from DAKAR, Scotiabank, Nature Flooring. China, THE Fundación Príncipe de Asturias, among others.
Cheer up and join us to compensate your carbon footprint!
