Social Responsibility
The company’s relationship with its surroundings is based on its Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR), which was developed from a social assessment that helped identify key stakeholders, their characteristics, and tailored strategies for fostering constructive engagement with each of them. The CSR Program was designed with the participation of civil society representatives, employees, and other stakeholders.
We have an institutionalized social policy supported by a Community Development Advisory Committee, made up of civil society members from the province. This dialogue and coordination platform serves to discuss the company’s main investment priorities in the development of communities within our area of influence. Priority has been given to health and education initiatives, as these sectors still face significant gaps that the government has not fully addressed.
We are committed to education and capacity building. We support research, knowledge generation, and the dissemination of information on forest management, conservation, and climate change. To achieve this, we have established partnerships with leading technical cooperation institutions and academic organizations, including WWF, GIZ, Perú Bosques (USAID), CESVI, IIAP, San Diego Zoo, Frankfurt Zoological Society (SZ), UNAMAD, UNALM, Leeds University, Instituto Tecnológico Tahuamanu, SERNANP, and SERFOR.
